The 2026 NYU (New York University) college visit happened on September 11 at PACA’s auditorium, bringing students and teachers together to hear the proposals that NYU provides at its three degree-granting campuses and multiple academic centers around the world.
One thing that sets NYU apart from other universities in the state of New York is that it is in 19th place on the Top 50 Green Colleges. According to the Princeton Review, universities that make the green colleges list “share superb sustainability practices, a strong foundation in sustainability education, and a healthy quality of life for students on campus.”
The representatives pointed out some of the reasons why NYU is on the green college list. They began the presentation by talking about the various campuses they have, one in New York and the other one in Abu Dhabi and a third in Shanghai, China. These are three main degree-granting campuses connected directly with NYU.

NYU has both large, extensive campuses, and also smaller schools and global sites that can be found on six continents around the world. The global listings for NYU can also be found when you use the interactive map page on the NYU website.
”NYU looks for high academic value and PACA offers all that you need to achieve your academic goal,” said Swisher. “NYU also has a variety of different programs and diversity despite the investment it offers a great experience around the world.”
Despite the costly investment, NYU is a college that offers diversity in its learning experiences, environments and opportunities for starting many different career paths.

Sarah Lin, a ninth grade student, really liked the presentation including the handouts given by the NYU representatives.
“I like the proposal and presentation. It was very enlightening and the flyers helped me understand better what the proposal was,” said Lin.
The colorful flier is a multiple-fold brochure. Its front page provides information for how many students they have, and which countries they represent. The second page introduces the student life elements in the campus and the city. It offers a campus map and a city map, as well. The third page talks about majors and minors and the fourth and last page shows the map of the world where all the colleges and academic sites are located.
At the end of the presentation, the two representatives from NYU gave time for a Q and A. Students were able to ask questions such as financial aid options, retention rates of students and costs for living and housing and acceptance
At the end of the presentation, when the bell rang, some students left but others stayed to ask questions. The representatives gave students a chance to meet one on one with them at the end of the event.
